Analytics
Replies are the only metric that pays rent. Ballast counts sends, replies, positive replies, bounces and wins, by day, campaign, step, variant, mailbox and provider. Opens only appear for campaigns that track them, and none can today.
Ballast is cold email software with every feature on every plan. Connect unlimited mailboxes, send sequences at a pace your domains survive, and handle replies in one inbox, priced by the emails you send.

Overview dashboard
The workspace home page shows a setup checklist until you have a domain, mailboxes, leads and a campaign. After that it's a dashboard for the last 7, 30 or 90 days:
- Tiles for emails sent, replies, positive replies and bounce rate over a daily bar chart. Click a tile to chart that metric.
- Mailbox health: how many mailboxes can send, and what is wrong with the rest.
- Bounce rate against the previous period, on a 0 to 10% gauge. Keep it under 2%.
- Won rate: leads marked won, against replies. Mark a lead won from its lead sheet or through the API.
- Reply sentiment: positive, negative and neutral replies, by the label each thread carries now. Relabeling a reply moves it; it never counts twice.
- Replies by weekday and hour, in each lead's own time zone, with the busiest hour named.
- Replies on a world map with the top countries, for leads whose country is known or could be guessed from their time zone, phone number or a country domain.
Campaign list and Campaigns, Analytics
The campaign list shows 90 days of sends for all campaigns and, per campaign, leads, sent, replies and bounces, with rates tinted against common benchmarks. Campaigns, Analytics breaks the last 7, 30 or 90 days down by campaign, by mailbox, by email provider, and by reply sentiment.
Inside a campaign
Each campaign shows its own stats and 90-day chart above the tabs. The Analytics tab goes deeper:
- By step and variant: sends, replies and reply rate for each A to E variant. Once two or more variants have 50 sends each, the one with the best reply rate is named the winner (no winner on a tie).
- By mailbox and by recipient provider, to spot the mailbox or provider that drags replies down.
- Reply sentiment for the campaign.
Positive and negative counts come from labels. Without AI labels, only the replies you label by hand and the rule-based ones are counted.
